I highly recommend Mary Beth. She is hands down the best agent you can find. She has a deep knowledge of the area, has an intuitive and impressively accurate understanding of the market, is a skilled negotiator who knows all the ways to make a competitive offer, and is an extremely hard worker, always available, checking in, and responding quickly. Most importantly, she took into account and respected all of our requirements in a home, no matter how restrictive they were. She was always patient with us when we said no to a great home for whatever reason. As first-time buyers, she ensured we were comfortable with and excited about what is a huge purchase. She will tell you after walking in the door if a house isn't the one for you, something our previous agent wouldn't do. And she knows houses. At every showing, she had advice on what could be upgraded for value, what was good and what was bad, and very specific reasons why a home might be under- or over-priced. On top of all this, she is a very nice and caring person who takes the time to learn about you. Everyone we have run into that knows her has had nothing but glowing reviews, including other agents who seem to hold her in the highest regard. After nearly 20 years in New York City, my wife and I moved to Cleveland for a new job opportunity. She helped us navigate whether a fixer-upper or a move-in-ready home made sense for our family. She connected us with trustworthy lenders, contractors, inspectors, etc. Every person she recommended was someone we’d work with again. And Mary Beth’s help didn’t stop at the closing table. She truly helped us land in our new community. We were nervous about finding childcare, and she connected us with a couple of excellent in-home daycares - places we never would’ve found on our own. Mary Beth Declerck was incredibly helpful to me as a first time home seller. Her friendly demeanor and market knowledge of the area gave me a sense of relief that I was working with the right person. She expertly walked me through the process and helped guide me to make the right decisions while selling my home. We were quickly able to find an appropriate buyer for my somewhat niche property, after Mary Beth tirelessly ran open houses, private showings and online listings. Jaclyn is an amazing realtor. We luckily stumbled upon working with her from a recommendation from our bank. Every step of the way she was kind, thoughtful, and kept us in mind. She had a good idea of what we were looking for and I think her best quality was writing offers. She was prompt but also very knowledgeable and really helped us tweak our offers to our advantage. She responds at the drop of a dime and if she is busy she will find someone to assist. Jaclyn was amazing in every single way and we will highly recommend her to friends and family going forward.
