When you work with Reid, you don’t feel like he’s working with anyone else but you. He gives you all his attention and knowledge. Btw we are his smallest sale in the last few years (according to the Zillow records) and he never made us feel small. Reid is great at what he does because he’s both personable and professional. On the personable end, he communicates clearly and frequently. He’s also skilled at managing what can be an emotional process (we had a situation with our lender and he was amazing at making us feel secure). He knows how to validate your feelings without feeling judged. On the professional end, referring back to the same situation with the lender, he was able to talk with our lender and then translate to us in a really understandable way that provided us a lot more clarity. He’s also SO organized. We signed so many documents and had a hard time keeping up with all the information but whenever we had questions, he quickly pull up the exact document and reference the section of the document. I appreciated that so much! Reid is also extremely competent which makes him so easy to trust. Escrow had questioned him on the day the wire deposit was due and he could point to the exact language that showed that exactly when it was due. I generally do not trust people, but Reid easily earned my trust because he continuously demonstrated that so damn good at his job! He’s good because he doesn’t just know about buying and selling homes; he knows about the economy; he knows about finance; he knows about the laws and policies. He has a multi-faceted understanding of real estate so his approach is strong. TL;DR Reid is so competent, super knowledgeable, unbelievably calm, easy going, great at communication, ethical, and highly personable.

Reid did an amazing job finding us the perfect condo. When we first met he showed us a bunch of places that fit our criteria. We narrowed it down to one community that did not have any units available. He watched for something to come on the market and had us in first. He then expertly navigated us through a difficult closing. I highly recommend Reid Kaplan.

Our laudatory comments come BEFORE the close of our home sale. This timing is intentional. We want to place special focus on Reid’s PROCESS, not just his tremendous outcomes. After seven property exchanges on both coasts, we’ve never had a realtor who actually PARTNERED with us in selling our home. Most list, some guide and show, but, “partner”?! He partnered by leading, preparing for and ultimately managing the sale. He supplied the resources and oversaw painting, gardening, cleaning, staging, etc. In our experience, Reid continuously worked at a high standard of professionalism. Beyond this, Reid has a sense of appropriate guidance, and he scrutinizes the blizzard of details in the modern transaction. I’d wish him for all our friends. Because of all this on his part, great, even fabulous, we’re looking at a great outcome. (He represented us for both our purchase and sale.)
