When we first started looking for realtors in the UP - we had the hardest time finding one that was actually interested in being a realtor - they either wouldn't even return our calls / emails - or we had to do all the searching and then beg them to line up a viewing. Nick on the other hand was very responsive and constantly sending us new listings as they hit the market. He was great from day one, and stuck with us for years. We started out just looking - knowing years down the road we wanted to retire to the UP. At first we were looking for vacant land to build anywhere in the UP, then for houses on a lake near Marquette (where Nick is from) and Munising, to finally looking for a house in the Manistique / Curtis area. He stuck with us for YEARS, adjusting the listing he sent us to our ever changing wants. He accommodated us several times when we wanted to come up and view the houses, even during a family emergency with his newborn child (he arranged for a couple other realtors to show us the houses in his absence). If your looking for a great realtor - Nick is your guy! He even followed up with us a few days after our closing - just checking in on us to see how things were going in our new house.

Nick went above and beyond to help with purchase of my house. He helped work through zoning issues and special appraisal requests, and was even accessible while on vacation with his family.

Nick is fantastic. I started searching for a home about 7 years ago and never could commit and found an excuse as to why I wasn't ready. Nick stayed with me the entire time, he continued to check in, see if my wants or needs changed and how he could help. If it wasn't for him, I would probably still be renting, but he encourage and helped me to find a home. The first home we wanted fell through due to the seller, Nick helped us through this whole process, had full transparency, and helped us with the final purchase of our new home. He was readily available at all times and helped with our 1000s of questions. I couldn't imagine buying a home using anyone else.

As first time homebuyers nick was so patience and informative for us! He knows the mqt area and market very well. He is very responsive and helpful in the home buying process. Plus we made a new friend!

Nick Racine was an enormous help to us in finding and then buying a new home. We shopped for over two years to find a good fit for what we needed in a new home. We were getting a bit discouraged with the lack of houses for sale in our area, but we finally found one, through Nick, that fit our most important specifications for a new home. Nick was always responsive to our communications, whether it be questions about the market, questions about the process of buying, or about anything and everything to do with finding and buying our new home. He is very congenial and knowledgeable about his profession. We would highly recommend his services.
