Dena is the consummate professional. Uncommonly deep knowledge of the Boulder market, and broader trends. She was able to identify numerous issues about particular neighborhoods, building styles, materials, construction/remodel costs, past hazards, and pending projects we never would have been aware of without her input. Her calm, thoughtful demeanor was particularly welcome through the ups and downs of the home buying process. Dena is an excellent realtor! In the modern day where sites like Zillow can show you all the houses available, a buyer's realtor really has to provide value in some way other than finding listings. And Dena delivers. She was able to point out all the things on houses we toured that we wouldn't have thought of, and even steered us away from some houses that looked good to us, but would've had issues later on, like foundations that were out of wack or plants growing in places plants should not be. She even pointed out at one house how the hot tub room and the kitchen had no separation, which meant the kitchen would always be humid, something I didn't even realize. She's also very responsive, responding to my texts within a couple hours every time, even nights, weekends, and while she was on vacation! If you're going to use a buyer's agent, Dena is the one to use.

Dena and Charlie helped us buy our first home in a competitive and low-inventory environment. They strategically helped us find homes that were not listed, ultimately enabling us to purchase a house in a very desirable location at a low price for the area. Both Dena and Charlie spent many hours searching for and showing us properties and talking us through the pros and cons of each. Once we were under contract, Dena's expertise in moving through to closing, including her recommendations for lenders, inspectors, and other professionals, ensured a smooth and timely process.
