Selecting McCurdy Real Estate Group to list my brother’s home was the best choice I’d made in recent memory. Selling a house in New York while living in Florida made me a more needy than usual seller, but Dawn and Alden surpassed all my expectations, demonstrating their exceptional market knowledge. McCurdy’s suggested listing price was 50% higher than that of other agencies, but not only did they get it, we had offers within 24 hours and the final accepted offer was 56% over other agencies’ suggested listing prices. Dawn and Alden convinced me not to sell the property completely as-is, and my clean-up investment yielded an ROI of 325%. Contractors recommended by Dawn and Alden proved to be competent, easy to work with and reasonably priced. I had no issues with service providers recommended by Dawn and Alden. If there was an issue with third-parties, Dawn addressed it head-on and with considerably more tact than I was likely to have exhibited. When a contractor needed access to the house, Alden or Dawn made themselves available to let them in. Where photos were appropriate to convey a condition, they provided them. McCurdy Real Estate Group earned every penny of their commission and I am pleased to give them my highest recommendation.

Edie was pleasant to work with, was very knowledable on the area and was quick to respond to our questions. This was critical as we did most of our negotiations long distance. She had excellent suggestions on the types of homes for us to consider and we ended up going with a townhouse which we were not really open to at the beginning. I would recommend Edie to anyone looking for a home in the capital region.
