Lori was a joy to work with. The loss of my father was devastating so having her and the team help with the Estate (specifically the sale of his condo) was a blessing. We had a deeply disappointing experience working with Monique Walker as our realtor. Aside from our initial interview, we never met with her in person again—not during the listing process, not when reviewing offers, not for the photo sessions, and not when signing papers. Throughout the entire process, she was largely absent and uncommunicative. We had to repeatedly reach out for updates on showings, feedback from potential buyers, and next steps after accepting an offer. Communication was poor and often delayed, despite our persistent efforts. After just three days on the market, she called to recommend a $25,000 price reduction—without ever having met with us in person to discuss strategy or market conditions. When we asked about comparable sales in our area, her responses were vague or delayed, and she often failed to follow through. She dismissed the idea of open houses outright, saying they don’t work and she doesn’t like doing them. We had to insist on hosting one, and even then, she failed to properly advertise it. It felt as though our home was not a priority for her—perhaps because it wasn’t in the luxury market she seems to focus on. After closing, we received nothing more than a brief voicemail stating she was out of state. Overall, Monique Walker was an absentee agent who did not offer the guidance, attention, or professionalism we expected. We would not recommend her to anyone, particularly those selling a home outside the high-end market.
